As a heads up, you'll need 3 or 4 pounds of good looking strawberries (fresh or frozen) and a small bag of sugar.
FYI, I like to have new winemakers make strawberry wine for their first batch. Why? Because strawberries are easily accessible, clears fast, tastes delicious young whether dry or semi-sweet.
Once winemakers learn the fundamentals of the craft, they can go on to make wine with other easily accessible fruit and soon winemaking grape varietals.
